Amanda is an attorney with Bracewell & Giuliani LLP. She specializes in public finance matters, representing hospitals, public and private schools and universities, cultural arts and other nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations, industrial and waste disposal companies, ports, municipalities and other governmental entities in tax-exempt and taxable bond and loan financings. Amanda also provides general counsel advice to governmental entities such as tax increment reinvestment zones and management districts in urban development transactions. Finally, Amanda provides legal counsel to non-profit organizations regarding federal tax exemption issues.

Amanda obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Emory University and her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School. Before entering private practice, Amanda served as a judicial law clerk to The Honorable Ivan L. R. Lemelle of the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Amanda remains active in the broader community. Amanda serves on several non-profit boards of directors, and she is the current Chair of the Board of Project Row Houses. As a result of her community involvement and legal work, Amanda has been recognized in a litany of publications and has received numerous accolades, including recognition as one of the 2013 Five Outstanding Young Houstonians by the Houston Junior Chamber of Commerce, among others.
