Kera Wright is vice president of Segment Finance for Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Solutions at McKesson Specialty Health, a division of McKesson Corporation. She has served in this capacity since 2010. Wright leads a team that is responsible for driving sound financial metrics, profitability and revenue cycle management, including contracts, pricing, negotiations, performance analysis, forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning. Additionally, she is responsible for identifying best practices and growth opportunities across multiple businesses.

Wright has appproximately 20 years of domestic and international experience in the areas of finance, accounting and strategic management with over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining McKesson, Wright held a number of management positions at Schering-Plough (Merck), Johnson & Johnson and US Oncology. Her work at General Electric (GE), positioned her to drive global compliance initiatives and lead projects in numerous countries, including Switzerland, Czech Republic, Norway and Hungary. She was also trained in and charged with implementing lean six sigma principles to optimize efficiency and drive results. She started her professional career at Lockheed Martin.

Wright is a New York City native and holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Hampton University in Hampton, VA.
