Julianne CenacJulianne Robbins Cenac, PhD, serves as the Director of Learning and Development at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. At UTHealth, Dr. Cenac leads the learning and developing initiatives for developing leadership talent while also providing professional skills development programs for the university’s 8,000 faculty and staff. Her 22-year career includes working internationally throughout China, Singapore, India, the Middle East, Southern Africa and the Caribbean. Dr. Cenac previously served as Assistant Vice President at Regent University where she led the university’s professional and continuing education division and international affairs. Prior to that role, Dr. Cenac served as a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. in McLean, Virginia. There she led and managed projects in strategy and performance for clients including international governments, the National Institutes of Health, Sentara Healthcare, Department of Homeland Security and The Department of the Army. Dr. Cenac is a thought leader on the subject of leadership with research interests in leader behavioral repertoire and leader emergence.
