As Senior Vice President, Nancy capitalizes on her strategic instincts to guide clients from energy companies to top retailers on reputation management, crisis communications, civic engagement, government relations, stakeholder communications and more.
Before joining Pierpont, Nancy owned her own public affairs and political consulting firm where she represented a wide range of businesses and advised campaigns for many of Texas’ leading political figures. Needless to say, she has an arsenal of great stories (though some are off the record) that will leave you laughing, while imparting a few pearls of wisdom.
Though for Nancy, it’s not just all talk. She’s passionately involved in the Houston-area community. She serves on various boards and advisory boards, including Crime Stoppers Houston, Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau, SEARCH Homeless Coalition and Da Camera. A recognized and trained leader, she is a graduate of American Leadership Forum, Center for Houston’s Future, Texas Lyceum and Leadership Houston.
As if she weren’t busy enough, Nancy’s other passion is teaching. So when she isn’t at City Hall, Nancy serves as an adjunct professor of political science at the University of Houston where she is “teaching the next generation of operatives.”
